Zach Duval Named New S&C Director at UCF

Zach Duval to replace Ed Ellis at UCF

Orlando, Florida — University of Central Florida hires Zach Duval to lead the Knights’ strength and conditioning program. Duval will be replacing Ed Ellis, who has been named the associate director for Georgia’s strength and conditioning program. Most recently, Duval was the director of sports performance for the University of Wyoming. From 2010 – 2013, Duval was the strength and conditioning coach for the University at Buffalo.

Duval began his career at the University of Nebraska where he was a quarterback. Following undergraduate school, Duval worked as a graduate assistant while remaining at Nebraska. He was quickly promoted to the position of football strength coach from 1997 – 2002.
